About Kith

Kith is an old word for your friends and acquaintances, as in "kith and kin". It grew out of words for knowledge and acquaintance, so your kith are, quite literally, the people you know.

It is easy to drift from people. Usually nothing goes wrong; time just passes, and someone you cared about slowly slips out of reach. Kith is a small place to keep track of your people and keep them close: who you have talked to, what you talked about, and who you might want to reach out to next.

Every star is someone you know. The closer they sit to you, the more recently you talked. When it has been longer than you meant, they drift outward and fade, and they show up in "reach out today" as a nudge.

Your privacy. Your people are kept in only two places: a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive, and this browser. Kith has no server and no analytics, and nobody else, including me, can see your data. Kith can only open the one sheet it created, not anything else in your Drive, and it never shares that sheet.

Made by Grace, with help from Claude. I hope it helps you keep your people close. If you have suggestions, or would like to use Kith yourself, get in touch through my website.
